We, natives from MENOUA, residing in Edmonton,
Realizing that the Cameroonian community in Edmonton in general, and daughters and sons of MENOUA in particular, is increasing considerably;
Considering the strong desire of MENOUA children living in Edmonton (Canada) to be familiar with each other, meet periodically and reflect together on socio-cultural and economic problems in order to take effective action for significant development;
Bearing in mind that our stay in a foreign country and environment may seriously alter our cultural spirit in the course of time;
Convinced that the various community values that link our cultural fabric must serve as references in relieving many existing challenges facing us in today’s world, particularly in the MENOUA division of Cameroon;
Determined to develop ourselves and create our modernity in the wake of a reassessed and redesigned cultural heritage;
Build a mutual agreement, a circle for reunion and sharing called: PO'OH MENOUA Association of Edmonton abbreviated POMAE. |
